Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hello everyone,

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope 2018 is filled with success and happiness with whatever you decide to do in life.

My thoughts over this holiday season would of course be with the families who have been affected by Tory welfare changes and with all the children who woke up homeless and without a home of their own this holiday season because this is an outrage.

2018 for me will hopefully be a busy one, campaigning across Crawley and the UK for a better future. I am hoping that there will be a snap election because this UK goverment is an absolute disgrace.

If you are struggling this christmas then I urge you to contact charities such as Mind to talk and get support. No one is alone and no one has to be alone this holiday season/

Unite national day of action against Universal credit + TODAY IN IFIELD WITH CRAWLEY LABOUR

Today Unite Crawley had a national day of action against universal credit, which is the new benefit system that is being rolled out by the Tories in government.

Universal credit is an bloody disaster because claimers are forced to wait up to six weeks for benefits and some people are even without money during the Christmas period which is so classic Tory.

The tories have shown time and time again that they just don't care about the working class and this new system is proving this.

UC claimers are at risk of loosing benefits and their homes because of the delays in this service and landlords are advised not to rent to UC claimers.

The Tories attacking the working class while protecting the rich is disgraceful and unlawful. Is there no end to the desire of them to see the poor have even less?

Together we can stop the Tories.
