So.........
I take it everyone has had a chance to take in the budget that was announced by Philip Hammond and had a chance to watch my response to the budget.
If there is one video that can sum up this budget is this:
This is another budget that promises change but will only deliver in delivering for the rich and offer nothing for the struggling.
Scrapping stamp duty on houses worth less then £300,000? Won't that just increase house prices? Making it harder for first time buyers in the long term?
A new rail card for when I turn 26 in 4 years? Yeah thanks..... that will make up for my unpayable student debt just because I went to university and got an education..
More funding for the NHS at £2.8b? Didn't Simon Stevens say that £4b was needed? Chronic underfunding is an issue which the government is doing nothing about it.
£3.7b of tax payers money set aside for brexit? Couldn't that of been avoidable if your government didn't force an EU ref on us? Couldn't THAT money be better spent on the health service? This is just getting ridiculous.
The problem with this government is they have no vision and no sense of long term ramifications when they introduce policies.
