Richard Leonard is elected the new Scottish Labour leader

Today I am very pleased to announce that Richard Leonard was elected the new leader of the Scottish Labour party after the decision from the party was announced today.

I supported him throughout the campaign and was very supportive of a Corbyn ally being elected to the second most powerful position in the Labour party.

I was very upset to see Kezia Dugdale resign because I feel she was true to herself and wanted true change for the people of Scotland but I feel that she had problems getting along with Corbyn and her supporters did not see eye to eye and she had a huge dilemnia.

Another reason why Kezia Dugdale resigned was it was rumoured that she was heading towards supporting Scottish independence because of some hints that has been dropping from her twitter account and her behaviour in parliament.

I wish Mr. Leonard all the luck in the world when it comes to leading this party that I am very pleased that he won the election over Anas Sarwar.

I hope now the party can be united once more.
