Westminster is calling and it is about time we call for another general election because this is just an absolute shambles, just a complete shambles in this government.
I have called for Jeremy Corbyn to put forward a motion of no confidence in this government to try bring it down and I still believe in this view because it makes the most sense. I know that this motion is not guaranteed to pass, even with this minority government, but with the DUP voting with Labour on some issues in parliament, anything is possible.
I know that talking about another election when it hasn't been a year since the last one is risky and under normal circumstances I would believe that but these are not normal circumstances.
First of all, Theresa May has lost her majority in government, which wasn't even hers in the first place, and has lost all credibility with the british public. Second of all, she has lost two senior members of her cabniet in less then a week. Priti Patel resigned from her position after undeclared meetings with high up Israel ministers and the prime minister during a trip where discovered. This was a big scandal in the Tory Cabniet.
Before Priti Patel, Michael Fallon, another minister, was forced out of the cabinet after claims of sexul harassment was brought against him. It seems to me that they are stopping like flies, who's next, Boris Johnson?
And with Brexit now being one of the key issues and with a deal needing to be negotiating with Brussels and Article 50 triggered, how can we have an unstable government leading the way propped up by Northern Ireland extremists? Is this the Britain that we want? The Britain that we fight for every single day?
People have said to me, well if it was Labour in this mess you wouldn't be calling for a vote of no confidence in this government. Actually I would. A government's job is being capable of leading this country and if they have shown they are incapable of leading a country, like TMay has so many times, they deserve to be booted out. I wouldn't want the Tories to replace a labour government, I would want new and reliable people in those positions.
