Unite activity in Crawley - supporting our trade union and our local labour party

Today me and my fellow friends and Unite the Union members in Crawley held a voter drive registration demo in order to encourage people to register to vote and also we held a community ballet vote to see what issues are facing the issues in Crawley so we can fight for them to be in Labour's next manifesto and connect with our local Labour ran council to address some of the issues that the public voted for in our community ballet box. The major concerns that people voted for in today's community ballet are health, housing, parking and trade union rights. We met and had discussions with the public and was greeted with a fantastic response and even bumped into fellow trade unionists along the way. We hope to continue these activities across Crawley to campaign and make it a fairer and better town.

We also held a Crawley Unite Branch meeting in our local Unite office which was kindly set up by our branch to discuss today's activity and also how to take the branch forward and encourage more people to sign up and campaign with us.
