Daniel Dobson announces his candidacy for Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Crawley
And so it begins...
The first candidate to come forward and announce their candidacy for parliamentary candidate in Crawley Labour is Daniel Dobson, current candidate for Furnace Green in the local elections in May 2018.
Mr. Dobson has been an active Labour Party member and Trade Unionist for 10 years and now has come forward to announce his bid for Crawley as the selection process is opening up for nominations from the local CLP.
I have personally worked with Dan in many campaigns with Labour and Unite the union, canvassing, leafleting and other events and would like to confirm that he would make a fantastic MP with his socialist values and vision for a better Crawley.
Mr. Dobson is supported and endorsed by Trade Unions that help support Crawley, in particular, Unite, who donated an office and time to our campaign in the last general election and one of the main reasons we cut the Tory majority to roughly 2000 votes and identifies himself as the candidate who will faithfully represent our town views in WestMinister and vote inconjuction with the people who elect them.
In the upcoming weeks, we suspect more candidates to come forward and the shortlist will be decided by the selection comittee and we will aim to have our candidate in place by January.
